World’s largest dairy event is incoming to the country in September 2022. International Dairy Federation (IDF) is organizing its annual global event, the World Dairy Summit (WDS) 2022 from 12 to 15 September 2022 in Greater Noida, Delhi NCR. It is happening in India after a long gap of 4 decades.
Dairying in India has changed in a big way during these 40 years. It has transformed from a milk deficit to a milk surplus and exporting industry. Annual milk production has increased by 5-fold from 40 to 200+ Mn Ton. Per capita availability has also gone up from 150 gm/day to 400+ gm/day. Range of new products with innovative packaging are now on the shelf. Companies are investing in a big way on the complete dairy value chain offering value for their money to the consumers.
